Domain Authentication Requirements

To get EV SSL, the domain registration information must show the organization name as shown on the certificate request. In case where the domain registration does not show organization’s name as per certificate request, a confirmation from Organization’s Administrator or a lawyer opinion letter is required to use the domain name.

Domain must be registered with ICANN or IANA certification body (CCTLD).
Domain registration details must be updated to reflect the name of the organization included in the certificate request. Private domain registration is required to unlock the functions of privacy.
The business approval certificate must confirm knowledge of domain ownership during the conformation call.

Additional Verification Requirements

If we are unable to confirm any of the essential information on your SSL Certificate request, we may apply for you to provide a legal opinion letter from a lawyer or accountant to confirm the information.
